This course is designed to make you aware of the newest electronic payment frauds as well as ones that have been around for a while. The course will explain how the frauds operate and why they are so important. It will also provide insights on how to prevent and detect these against frauds. This overview level course provides a general review of this topic from a broad perspective. This course is appropriate for the professional at any organizational level.

This course meets the requirements to qualify for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) fraud category, but it does not meet the requirements for California Fraud credit because it is not specifically focused on the prevention, detection, and/or reporting of fraud affecting financial statements.

This course is most beneficial to professionals new to electronic payments who may be at the staff or entry level in organization but also for a seasoned professional with limited exposure to this subject.
