Bill Gole, MBA, CPA

Bill Gole received his MBA from Adelphi University and has been a CPA since 1982. For the last decade, he has consulted on M&A engagements and authored books on M&A topics, including "Mergers and Acquisitions: Business Strategies for Accountants" and "Due Diligence: An M&A Value Creation Approach." He has also periodically taught business courses at several universities and colleges, most recently Paul Smiths College, a school in the Adirondack region of New York State. Bill was a senior executive at the Thomson Corporation (now Thomson Reuters) for almost 20 years, where he served as Senior Vice President of Business Planning and Development for Thomson Healthcare and Senior Vice President for Worldwide Sales and Services for Thomson Scientific. Before that, he was President and CEO of Frost & Sullivan, an international market research firm, Vice President of Product Development at Practitioners Publishing Company, and Publisher at the American Institute of CPAs. Bill entered the accounting profession as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand.
