Debra L. Grove Casey, CPA

Debra L. Grove Casey joined Bisk Education, Inc., as an editor in 1994. She is responsible for editing continuing professional educational material for CPAs in the accounting and auditing field through: updating and editing accounting and auditing texts; developing graphics for video and DVD products; writing audio and announcers' scripts for online, video, and DVD products; editing and generating transcripts for a video-based accounting and auditing newsletter. Prior to joining Bisk Education, she worked in public accounting for local CPA firms in Tampa and Sarasota performing both audits and tax work, including nonresident Canadian filings. She worked as the controller and director of internal audit for a start-up prepaid Medicaid health plan, and in the tax department of a Fortune 500 subsidiary, managing fixed assets and capital budgeting, as well as state and local tax filings. She obtained her Masters and Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Florida, and a second Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida.
