James Dalton

James Dalton is a seasoned financial planning educator and author, holding an MBA from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master of Accounting in Taxation from the University of New Orleans. He formerly served as Senior Vice President at Kaplan Professional and President of Dalton Publications LLC and has authored or co-authored numerous foundational texts for the CFP examination and financial planning courses. Today, he is the Chief Product Innovation Officer for CeriFi, and he continues to instruct as adjunct faculty at institutions such as George Mason University and previously at Georgetown University. where he leads efforts to advance the quality and accessibility of financial planning education through innovative learning solutions.
