W. Eugene Seago, PhD, CPA, JD

W. Eugene Seago is the Curling Professor Emeritus at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is the author of numerous articles on taxation and is a contributing author to West's Federal Income Taxes. He has served as president of the American Taxation Association and as a member of the AICPA Tax Division. He is a member of the American Bar Association Tax Section on Tax Accounting Problems and served as chair of the Inventories Subcommittee. He received his PhD and JD from the University of Georgia, his MBA from Florida State University, and his BS from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
